Parashuraman is a great devotee of Lord Shiva. Lord Shiva was Pleased to see Parashuraman's devotion and became his teacher who taught war skills to Parashuraman. Lord Shiva gifted a axe to Parashuraman for his devotion.

3. Fight with Lord Shiva

Lord Shiva teached warfare skills to Parashuraman. Lord Shiva Challenged Parashuraman for a battle, which lasted for 21 days. Shiva was Pleased to see the battle skills of Parashuraman.

4. Fight with Lord Ganesha

Parashuraman once went to the Kailaya mountain to see Lord Shiva. He was Stopped by Lord Ganesha who was ordered by her mother Lord Parvathi to stop anyone who comes to disturb the privacy of Lord Shiva and Parvathi. This lead to the fight between Lord Ganesha and Parashuraman.
