Sulabh International Museum of Toilets in New Delhi


The Sulabh International Museum of toilets was built by 1992 by Dr. Bindeshwar Pathak. According to Time magazine, it is titled as one of the weirdest museum in the world. It is dedicated to the global history of sanitation and toilet. This place is one of the unusual places in India. This place gives us rare details and historic evolution of toilets. It displays the trend in toilets of both old and new. It is really a unique place for tourism.

2. Karni Mata Rat Temple in Rajasthan


This temple is dedicated to Karni Mata at Deshonke. It is situated 30km from Bikaner, in Rajasthan. This is known as Temple of Rats. In this temple there are approximately 25,000 black rats live. These holy rats are called kabbas. Here, many visitors come from other country to pay their respect and blessings. Many people offer sweet candy to rats. If you hurt any rat there, then you have to purchase a silver or gold rat statue and offer it to temple.

3. Shani Shiganapur


In Shani Shiganapur village, people live in houses with no doors. Here one can find only curtains in place of doors. This village located in Maharastra state about 350 kilometers. Here, villagers are not bother about their house's security or fear of thieves. For them everything dedicated to lord shani. Here, people believe in lord shani that if anyone steal something then they have to pay for their sin to lord shani. There is no police station in this village too.


Longewala Battlefield : Tanot Mata Temple


Longewala region is situated in Thar desert of the Rajasthan. This temple is siuated very close to battle field where indo-pak war held. It is the last tourist destination in India. Tanot mata is believed to spirituality of goddess Hinglaz. Here, unusual thing is peoples said that during indo-pak war of 1965, Pakistani army dropped several bombs but none of them explode temple. After the war temple management was handed over to Border security Force of India. In this temple there is a museum in which has collection of unexploded bombs dropped by Pakistan.

5. Roopkund


Roopkund is also known as Mystery lake or skeletons lake. It is situated in Uttarakhand state of India. With depth of two meters widely known for hundreds of ancient human skeletons found at edge of lake. As, snow melts human skeletal remains visible at its bottom.
